'When I Lost My Elder Son, He Was The Only..': Shekhar Suman Extends Support To SRK & Gauri Post Aryan Khan's Arrest
Shekhar Suman revealed that Shah Rukh Khan was the only actor, who personally came to meet him when he lost his 11-year-old son.
Mumbai: In a big setback to Aryan Khan, a Mumbai Esplanade court rejected his bail plea in connection with the drugs seizure case. Aryan, who is the son of Bollywood actor Shah Rukh, was detained and later arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau post a raid at a luxury cruise. The star kid is currently under judicial custody.
Shekhar Suman took to social media to extend support to Shah Rukh and his wife Gauri Khan. He shared a series of tweets and asked the couple to stay strong amid the tough times. The 'Movers & Shakers' host said that it's not easy for parents to go through such kind of situation.
He tweeted, "My heart goes out to Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan. As a parent I can totally understand what they are going through. It's not easy for parents to go through this kind of torment and ordeal no matter what."
Shekhar went down the memory lane and revealed that SRK personally came to meet him after the death of his 11-year-old son. He added that the 'Chennai Express' actor visited him while he was shooting at Mumbai's Film City.
"When i lost my elder son Aayush at age 11 Shah Rukh Khan was the only actor who came to me personally while I was shooting at film city, hugged me and conveyed his condolence. I'm extremely pained to know what he must be going through as a father," Suman wrote on the micro-blogging site.
A Mumbai Court on Friday had rejected Aryan, Munmun Dhamecha and Arbaz Seth Merchant’s bail, on grounds of maintainability, according to a report in IANS. They were shifted to regular prisons from NCB’s lockup in Mumbai.
Aryan was sent to Arthur Road Central Jail on Friday (October 8) afternoon. According to a report in ANI, he was served the same food, which is offered to other prisoners. The star kid was not given any special treatment in the jail.
