‘Sooryavanshi’ Release Date Announced! Akshay Kumar’s Cop Drama To Hit The Theatres On This Date!

Akshay Kumar finally announced the release date of his upcoming movie ‘Sooryavanshi.

New Delhi: Rohit Shetty’s upcoming cop drama ‘Sooryavanshi’ is one of the most awaited movies of this year. The movie starring Akshay Kumar in the lead role was earlier slated for a release last year on March 24 but got delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Since then, fans have been eagerly waiting for the film to hit the theatres.

Well, there is some good news for all the Rohit Shetty and Akshay Kumar fans as the ‘BellBottom’ actor took to his social media and finally announced the release date of his upcoming movie ‘Sooryavanshi’.

Akshay wrote while sharing a video, “Sooryavanshi : Because A Promise Is A Promise We promised you all a cinematic experience and that’s what you will get...the wait is finally over! Aa Rahi Hai Police👮‍♀️ #Sooryavanshi releasing worldwide in cinemas on 30th April 2021. #Sooryavanshi30thApril”

‘Sooryanvanshi’ is now all set to hit the theatres on April 30, 2021.

The co-producer of the movie Karan Johar also tweeted and wrote, “The wait is finally over! We promised you all the #Sooryavanshi experience in cinemas and it's time to fulfil that promise! So mark your calendars for 30th April 2021. #Sooryavanshi30thApril”.

He continued and wished Rohit Shetty as the latter celebrates his birthday today, “Wishing the entire team all the best for our dhamakedaar film and loads of love to the birthday boy #RohitShetty. It's always a blast to work with you, here's to many more!!!”

Meanwhile, other than Akshay Kumar, ‘Sooryavanshi’ also stars Katrina Kaif, Gulshan Grover, Abhimanyu Singh, Niharica Raizada, Jackie Shroff, Sikandar Kher, Nikitin Dheer, Vivan Bhatena and Javed Jaffrey. Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh will reprise their roles of Singham and Simmba respectively in this upcoming cop-drama.
