Akshay Kumar Shares Update About ‘Ram Setu’; Says ‘Can’t Wait To Begin Filming’

New Delhi: The ‘Khiladi Kumar’ of Bollywood is known for delivering several hits in a single year. Akshay Kumar has been working tirelessly for entertaining the audience. When the COVID-19 pandemic hit the world, our country went into a nationwide lockdown. After the lockdown rules eased a bit, Akshay was amongst the first actors to resume his work taking care of all the precautionary measures.

With a number of upcoming films in his kitty, Akshay shared an update about one of his upcoming films ‘Ram Setu’ on his social media. The ‘BellBottom’ actor shared a picture from the script reading session of the film where Nushrratt Bharuccha, Jacqueline Fernandez and others can be spotted.

While sharing the picture, the ‘Atrangi Re’ star wrote, “The team that preps together excels together! An extremely productive script reading session with the team of #RamSetu this evening. Can’t wait to begin filming this one. @jacquelinef143 @nushrrattbharuccha #AbhishekSharma #CapeOfGoodFilms @abundantiaent @ivikramix #DrChandraprakashDwivedi”.

On the occasion of Diwali last year, Akshay announced this upcoming film and wrote, “his Deepawali, let us endeavor to keep alive the ideals of Ram in the consciousness of all Bharatiyas by building a bridge(setu) that will connect generations to come. Taking this mammoth task ahead, here is our humble attempt - RAM SETU ! Wishing you & yours a very Happy Deepawali!”

Meanwhile, other than ‘Ram Setu’, Akshay also has ‘Sooryavanshi’, ‘BellBottom’, ‘Atrangi Re’, ‘Prithviraj’ and ‘Bachchan Pandey’ in his kitty.
