Aishwarya Rai, Jaya Bachchan & Aaradhya's Swab Test Results Are Negative: Mumbai Mayor

The second swab reports of Aishwarya Rai, Jaya Bachchan & Aaradhya have turned out to be negative.

New Delhi: Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, daughter Aaradhya Bachchan and mother-in-law Jaya Bachchan have tested negative in their swab test. They were tested using the rapid antigen kit last night. The three of them will stay in 14-day isolation as per COVID-19 protocols. Mumbai Mayor Kishori Pednekar said that the Bachchan residence ‘Jalsa’ is now a containment zone and all residents have been quarantined for two weeks. BMC officials have sealed Jalsa and sanitised the entire building after Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan tested positive for COVID-19. The father-son duo has been admitted to Mumbai's Nanavati hospital. The PRO of the hospital released a statement on Sunday (July 11) and said that Big B is stable with mild symptoms. Abhishek Bachchan had requested his followers to stay calm while informing about his health. "Earlier today both my father and I tested positive for COVID 19. Both of us having mild symptoms have been admitted to hospital. We have informed all the required authorities and our family and staff are all being tested. I request all to stay calm and not panic. Thank you," the Guru actor tweeted.

Several tinsel town celebs including Shatrughan Sinha, Kamal Haasan and Anil Kapoor wished Amitabh and Abhishek a speedy recovery. "As the entire nation prays for their favourite megastar @SrBachchan & talented, loving & our own @juniorbachchan I too join in sending healing prayers for their smooth & speedy recovery. We all love you. Regards to the family. God Bless! Get well soon," Shatrughan Sinha tweeted.

Kamal Haasan wrote, "I wish both the Bachchans @SrBachchan @juniorbachchan a speedy recovery. I trust the Indian doctors and Sr. Bachchan's will to overcome health hazards. Get well soon and become an icon again for survival and wellness."
