Aamir Khan’s Son Junaid Khan To Star Opposite Sai Pallavi In Her Bollywood Debut

Sai Pallavi, best known for her roles in 'Maari 2', 'Fida', and 'Gargi', is about to make her Hindi film debut.

It was speculated that Junaid Khan had reportedly been signed for the Hindi remake of the Tamil film 'Love Today'.

New Delhi: Aamir Khan's son Junaid Khan is already hard at work on his next project alongside Sai Pallavi, a South actress who will soon make her acting debut in a YRF movie. Sai Pallavi, best known for her roles in 'Maari 2', 'Fida', and 'Gargi', is about to make her Hindi film debut. According to reports, Junaid Khan's movie will be a love story.

According to ANI, "The preparation of Junaid's untitled next has started. Sai Pallavi apparently will be the leading lady in the film. This will be Junaid's next project, after his YRF debut film. A Sunil Pandey directorial, the film is touted to be a love story." 

Junaid Khan made his stage acting debut in Quasar Thakore Padamsee's adaption of Bertolt Brecht's stinging satire "Mother Courage and Her Children".

In an earlier interview, Aamir talked about Junaid's Bollywood debut. "It is up to him (about making his film debut). He should lead his own life and take his own decisions. I don't want to take it for him. I have left it all to him. He certainly has an inclination towards the creative world and towards filmmaking. He is following his path, he has studied theatre. He is actually more interested in theatre than films. I am allowing him to go and find his own path. That's how it should be. He is very bright,' he said. 

Earlier, it was speculated that Junaid Khan would begin his career in the film industry given that he had reportedly been signed for the Hindi remake of the critically acclaimed Tamil film 'Love Today'. According to reports, Junaid Khan has been approached for the part. The movie, which will be made by Phantom Studios, will also star Khushi Kapoor, the younger daughter of Boney Kapoor.

Aamir Khan attended a book launch event in Mumbai last month with his ex-wives Reena Dutta and Kiran Rao. The book launch event was also attended by his son Junaid Khan. Outside the storefront, he was seen taking pictures with Aamir.
