Aamir Khan Posts Heartfelt Tribute On Puneeth Rajkumar’s Death

Bollywood actor Aamir Khan penned down a heartfelt note on Puneeth Rajkumar’s death.

New Delhi: In an unfortunate turn of events, Kannada actor Puneeth Rajkumar breathed his last on October 29, 2021, after suffering a heart attack. Soon after the news of his death broke out, many celebrities from the film industry expressed their grief and shock on his sudden demise.

Bollywood actor Aamir Khan, who quit social media earlier this year, also penned down a heartfelt note on Puneeth Rajkumar’s death. Aamir Khan Productions took to their official social media account and shared the note that read, “Appu entertained us through his films, but above all else, he won us all with his warmth, sincerity and passion. Thank you Puneeth, for all the love that you showered on all of us. May your soul rest in peace, dear friend. My heartfelt condolences and prayers to the family.”

Many other celebrities including Sonu Sood, Kajal Aggarwal, Samantha Prabhu, Shreya Ghoshal and others also paid their heartfelt tribute to the late actor on his sudden death. 

Not only his family members but also his fans are unable to process the news of his death. His death news shocked people so much that one of his fans Rahul Gaadivaddara, killed himself in Karnataka. Two other fans - Parashuram Demannanavar and Muniyappa - died after suffering from a cardiac arrest on hearing about the death of the Kannada superstar.

Puneeth Rajkumar was rushed to the hospital after he complained of chest pain while working out. He suffered a massive heart attack and passed away without responding to the treatment.

Puneeth has worked in 29 films as a lead actor in his career. He also appeared in many films as a child actor and the power star was popularly known as ‘Appu’.

According to a report of IANS, Puneeth Rajkumar’s final rites will be performed next to his father’s memorial with full state honour.
