Puneeth Rajkumar's Demise: Dejected Fan Kills Self, Two Others Die After Suffering Cardiac Arrest In Karnataka
Two other fans of Puneeth died of cardiac arrest after learning about the death of the Kannada power star.
Chennai: On the same day of demise as Kannada's power star Puneeth Rajkumar, a fan who was unable to process the death of the actor killed himself in Belagavi of Karnataka district. Actor Puneeth on Friday died after he complained of chest pain while doing work-outs and was rushed to the hospital where he suffered a massive attack and passed away without responding to the treatment.
Following this, the remains of the actor have been placed in Kanteerava Stadium for his fans to pay last respects and the last rites are expected to begin once his elder daughter reaches Bengaluru from the USA on Saturday.
According to a report on ABP Nadu, a fan of Puneeth killed himself in Karnataka unable to bear the pain of Puneeth’s demise on Friday. A 21-year-old Rahul Gaadivaddara killed himself after paying his respects to Puneeth at his home in Belagavi.
Two other fans of Puneeth--Parashuram Demannanavar and Muniyappa--died after suffering from a cardiac arrest on hearing about the death of the power star.

Puneeth Rajkumar, who was born in Chennai, has acted in lead roles of Kannada version of Kollywood movies Nadodi and Porali. The actor, known as Appu, made his debut when he was six-month-old and he received the national award for best child artist in 1985. His performances were well-known in movies including Vasantha Geetha, Bhagyavantha, Bettada Hoovu, Raajakumara and Anjani Putra.
He was also a multi-talented singer, producer and anchor in the Kannada film industry.
