10 Years Of ‘Singham’: Ajay Devgn Dedicates Film To Frontline Warriors
Ajay Devgn shared a special post on the completion of 10 years of 'Singham' and dedicated it to all the frontline warriors.
Mumbai: ‘Singham’ is one of the most loved movies by Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn. The movie completed 10 years of its release today and taking to this special occasion, the ‘Maidaan’ actor shared a special post on his social media.
To mark 10 years of the release of ‘Singham’, Ajay posted, “Jismein hai dum, toh fakt Bajirao Singham”.
The ‘Bhuj: The Pride Of India’ actor continued, “Singham sirf ek film nahin hai, Singham ek jasba hai, emotion hai, ek salaam hai uss police force ke naam jo apni parwah kiye bina, imandaari aur sachhi nishtha se apna kaam iss desh ki seva mein kar rahe hain.”
Dedicating his post and his superhit movie to all the frontline warriors of COVID-19, Ajay Devgn wrote, “I want to thank the team and all the fans for the super successful 10 years of Singham. And dedicate it to all the frontline workers out there.”
Directed by Rohit Shetty, ‘Singham’ is a cop drama that was released in the year 2011. Kajal Aggarwal portrayed the role of the female lead in this movie and Prakash Raj played the main antagonist. The movie received immense response from the audience and went on to become a box-office blockbuster.
Meanwhile, Ajay Devgn is also gearing up for his upcoming movie ‘Bhuj: The Pride Of India’ which is all set to release on the OTT platform Disney+Hotstar on August 13, 2021. The movie also stars Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha, Sharad Kelkar, Nora Fatehi, Ammy Virk, Pranitha Subhash and Ihana Dhillon. Devgn will portray the role of the protagonist in this war movie which is based on the life of IAF Squadron leader Vijay Karnik, who reconstructs the airbase with the help of 300 women from the local village.
Other than ‘Bhuj: The Pride Of India’, Ajay Devgn will also be seen featuring in ‘Sooryavanshi’, ‘RRR’, ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’, ‘Maidaan’ and ‘Mayday’.
