Sidharth Malhotra is all set to lead Dharma Production's first action franchise, 'Yodha', where he will once again embrace his much-loved action-packed avatar to thwart an aeroplane hijacking.

Sidharth Malhotra has consistently displayed his acting prowess, carving a special place in the hearts of audiences. His recent ventures, 'Shershaah' and 'Mission Majnu', not only earned him global recognition but also garnered acclaim for his stellar performances. Now, he is all set to lead Dharma Production's first action franchise, 'Yodha', where he will once again embrace his much-loved action-packed avatar to thwart an aeroplane hijacking. The glimpses of the film released so far have generated significant intrigue, building anticipation for Sidharth Malhotra's showdown with the villains.

Recently, Karan Johar spoke about upcoming film 'Yodha' and shared, "Oh my God! Yodha was a tough film. When you see the film, and you’ll see the trailer, you will know it was not an easy film because while it has a lot of scale in many parts of the film, there is one chunk of it in which we had to build the entire set of a plane and the action crew was from South Africa and there were multiple cameras and multiple rehearsals. So, there was a lot of prep work done to get it right."

He further added, "Kudos to… they are first-time directors, Sagar and Pushkar, to them, to producer Shashank Khaitan who is producing the film with us, and to Sidharth Malhotra. The work he put in… I think there are really two films which have challenged him physically and emotionally, 'Shershaah' and 'Yodha'. He is delivered in both, and I think all Sidharth Malhotra fans will be very proud of the work he has done in Yodha."

Yodha is set o be released on December 8, 2023.

As Sidharth Malhotra wraps up the year with a dhamakedar release of Yodha on December 8, 2023, he will kick off the next year with a bang, starring in the highly anticipated web series, Indian Police Force, releasing on 19th January 2024.
