'The Queen's Gambit' star Anya Taylor-Joy married Malcolm McRae for the second time in Italy in a star-studded event.
New Delhi: 'The Queen's Gambit' star Anya Taylor-Joy married Malcolm McRae for the second time in Italy in a star-studded event. As per a Page Six report, the wedding which happened in Venice was attended by the likes of Cara Delevingne, Julia Garner, Nicolas Hoult, Miles Teller and his wife and the who's who of Hollywood.
Anya Taylore-Joy had married Malcolm McRae in a courthouse wedding last summer which was attended by some 150 of their close friends and family.
Their latest wedding took place at the historic Palazzo Pisani Moretta, a 15th-century palace, on the Grand Canal.
Anya Taylor-Joy's unconventional wedding dress is doing the rounds on social media. Rather than opting a typical white wedding gown. Taylor-Joy opted for a beige ball gown with embroidered birds and flowers across the corset like bodice and skirt.
Despite the experiment, the 'Peaky Blinders' actor wore her hair up, and kept some of the Christian wedding tradition alive by opting for a stark white veil.

Anya and Malcolm began dating in May 2021. The two have managed to keep their relationship out of the public eye.
Malcolm, who is a musician, also wrote a song for the actor. He mentioned the same in an Instagram post that said, "I wrote this song for Anya two days after meeting her. It’s called ‘Really Want to See You Again’" he mentioned in the caption of his post.
Some time later, in an interview with British Vogue, Anya opened up about her relationship and said, "I said to my partner the other day that he was my hobby. I’ve finally found someone who will happily sit in silence with me reading. We’re basically 80 years old and 7 at the same time, and it works really well.”
As per the same Page Six report, Anya Taylor-Joy wore a slightly untraditional engagement ring, opting for a massive green diamond with several surrounding diamonds smaller in size.
