New Delhi: Joe Jonas has filed for a divorce from his now ex-wife and Game of Thrones actor Sophie Turner, after four years of marriage. The couple shares two daughters named Willa (3 years) and D.. (14 months). The Jonas Brothers' singer said in his petition that "the marriage between the parties is irretrievably broken." Joe has requested shared custody of the kids. According to a source who spoke to TMZ, "Joe and Sophie have a prenup, which Joe also mentions in his divorce documents."

According to the international media, Joe also wants the court to assist in creating a parenting schedule for Joe and Sophie so that their former partners can have "frequent and continuing contact with both parties." 

On Tuesday, Jonas submitted the documents to the Miami-Dade County Court, amid reports indicating their recent sale of the house in the vicinity.

The publication claims that because of the differences in their lifestyles, there is a friction between the two. "She likes to party, he likes to stay at home. They have very different lifestyles," the source claimed.

Shortly after it was revealed that Joe and Sophie's marriage has "serious problems," the couple announced their separation. Joe's recent sightings without the wedding ring fueled the rumours that they had broken up. But after Joe wore his wedding band to the most recent Jonas Brothers concert, supporters now think he dispelled the accusations.

Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner have not yet responded to the news of their separation. After dating for a few years, Joe, who is now 34, married Sophie, who is now 27. After Joe accidentally entered her DMs, they started dating in 2016. The couple had their wedding in Las Vegas in May 2019.

Joe and Sophie have avoided drawing attention to their relationship. In an interview with MR PORTER in November 2022, Joe stated, "I want to feel like an open book. But as soon as we started dating, I became aware that I didn't have a lot of things that were exclusively mine. Having something for myself ultimately improves me as a person."
