She said that for the first time in history, the budget was increased by 137 per cent in the health sector. The BJP MP said that in the last six and a half years many schemes have been brought for the poor so that people of all communities can live with dignity.

The ‘Seeta Aur Geeta’ actress also said that a lot of provisions have been made to change the lives of farmers. Many programs are being run for the benefit of farmers.

Hema Malini questioned, “How can the Prime Minister who has been working continuously for the farmers till now, suddenly become anti-farmer?”

The ‘Baghban’ actress further said, “The Prime Minister has not only worked to bring the derailed economy back on track due to the COVID-19 crisis, but it is also running fast on the track. An example of this is the record increase in GST collections.”

Meanwhile, many Hollywood celebrities including Rihanna, Mia Khalifa and others have also come out in support of the farmers’ protest.
