Soon-to-be mommy Dia Mirza recently celebrated her stepdaughter Samaira’s birthday with husband Vaibhav Rekhi and ex-wife Sunaina Rekhi.

Samaira is Vaibhav’s daughter from his first wife Sunaina who shared a video on her Instagram profile.

The video has Vaibhav and Sunaina celebrating Samaira’s 12th birthday as Dia makes a video of them. Samaira is seen cutting the cake and blowing the candles as he mom & dad showers love on her. Watch below:

During her recent Maldives vacation too fans witnessed her bond with Samaira in the pictures she shared on her Instagram account.

On a related note, earlier this month, Dia announced that she is expecting her first child with husband Vaibhav.

The 39-year-old actress took to Instagram and posted a picture cradling her baby bump. "Blessed to be. One with Mother Earth. One with the life force that is the beginning of everything. Of all stories. Lullabies. Songs. Of new saplings. And the blossoming of hope. Blessed to cradle this purest of all dreams in my womb," she wrote along with the picture.

The actress also faced criticism from a section of netizens for the timing of announcing her pregnancy, soon after her wedding.

Dia tied the nuptial knot with Vaibhav on February 15 in a private ceremony attended by family and close friends. She was earlier married to film producer Sahil Sangha for five years, they got separated in 2019.
