Charu Asopa To Go Ahead With Divorce Process, Accuses Husband Rajeev Sen Of Domestic Violence
In a recent interview, Charu Asopa said that she regrets giving the marriage another shot.
New Delhi: There have been several efforts at reconciliation between Rajeev Sen and Charu Asopa, but their marriage is still in trouble. Soon after the wedding, rumours of conflict between them began to circulate. From time to time, they sometimes regrouped together and occasionally grew apart. They had stated that they had gotten back together because of their daughter and wanted to give their marriage another try, but Charu has now made it apparent that they are taking a divorce.
Charu has now deleted all of Rajeev’s social media photographs, and Rajeev has allegedly blocked her on Instagram.
Charu recently gave an interview in which she admitted guilt at reconciling with Rajeev and spoke of the abuse she endured at his hands, among other things.
She told the Times of India that she regrets giving the marriage another shot. Charu said, "Rajeev is temperamental, has abused and even raised his hand on me once or twice. He would suspect me of cheating on him. When I was shooting for Akbar Ka Bal Birbal, he sent messages to my co-actors to stay away from me. It became difficult for me to work. I feel that he was cheating on me, but that’s something I can’t prove.”
On the other side, Rajeev asserts that such claims are baseless and ridiculous. According to Rajeev, he never disappeared since she always knew where he was. He said that she had secretly left Mumbai without any reason.
For the unversed, In August 2022 Charu Asopa announced about her separation and that she had already sent him a legal notice in June 2022. The couple levelled allegations against each other from time to time and in September they decided to call off their divorce and give second chance to their marriage.
After dating for a little over a quarter of a year, Rajeev and Charu tied the knot on June 7, 2019. They have a daughter named Ziana.
