In an interview, Vivek Oberoi reflected on his past issues with Aishwarya Rai and Salman Khan, offering a brief but gracious comment: “God bless them,” when asked about both actors.

Actor Vivek Oberoi recently spoke about dealing with toxic relationships, overcoming painful breakups, and finding a higher purpose in life. He shared that had he not discovered this purpose, he would have remained trapped in a “plastic life,” surrounded by people with “plastic smiles.”

In an interview, Vivek also reflected on his past issues with Aishwarya Rai and Salman Khan, offering a brief but gracious comment: “God bless them,” when asked about both actors.

During his appearance on Dr. Jai Madaan’s YouTube channel, Vivek was prompted to comment on certain names, including his parents and himself. He was also asked about Aishwarya Rai and Salman Khan, responding similarly for both. When it came to Aishwarya’s husband, Abhishek Bachchan, Vivek described him as “a sweetheart, a really nice person.”

Vivek on his professional struggles

Vivek, who now considers himself a philanthropist and entrepreneur, expressed gratitude for finding a greater purpose in life. Reflecting on his emotional and professional struggles and how they shaped his current path, he said, “Perhaps I would’ve become a superficial person, living a superficial life. Perhaps I would’ve become plastic myself, among people with plastic smiles. If people troll me now, I don’t care. Because I know my purpose in life, I know what is the most important to me.”

He also pointed out how being a celebrity “amplifies” one’s experiences. “Your breakup becomes world news,” he noted. When asked for advice on dealing with breakups, Vivek offered a thought-provoking analogy: “If someone is leaving your life, think of it this way. A child drops his lollipop in the mud, his mother won’t allow him to eat it because it is dirty, would she? Life will give you a new partner. The longer you stay with pain the more it’ll grow.”

Vivek added, “I’m speaking from personal experience. Sometimes, we go into abusive relationships, relationships where people are using you, people are not valuing you, not respecting you. You go into that relationship because you haven’t identified your self-worth. You think it’s right to have a fatalist attitude, thinking, ‘I don’t care, I can give my life also.’ But you have to value yourself.”
