Varun Dhawan Shares Emotional Milestone As Daughter Lara Eats Solid Food For The First Time, Wacth

Varun Dhawan revealed that his 6-month-old daughter had her first solid food today, but he felt emotional as he couldn’t be there to witness the milestone.

New Delhi: Fans and media were captivated by a personal moment that Varun Dhawan had during his promotional event in Jaipur. The actor is currently promoting his next flick ‘Baby John’. During the event, a reporter asked Varun Dhawan about parenting and his daughter Lara. He revealed that his daughter had her first solid food today, but he couldn’t be there to witness the milestone. 

Varun Dhawan said that he never anticipated experiencing such a surge of emotions for his daughter, Lara. The actor said, "Honestly, jab mai pita bana, mujhe pata bhi nahi tha ki ye sab hoga, ki ye sab emotions hote hain. Log boltey hai an ki 'abhi toh shuruaat hai, vo teen mahine ki hogi, phir paanch mahine ki hogi."

Varun Dhawan confessed that he was overwhelmed with emotion because he couldn’t be there for his 6-month-old daughter’s significant moment. He shared, "Today is actually a kind of emotional day because my baby started eating solid food for the first time today. And I missed it because I am here. My wife (Natasha Dalal) sent me a video.”

Varun said that similar to how 'mamta' refers to a mother's love, he believes this is 'baapta,' or love from a father. "Mamta ke baare mein suna hai, ye baapta hai," he joked, bringing a lightheartedness to the situation.

Earlier, Varun Dhawan told GQ India that he felt guilty for not being there with his daughter due to work. He said, “There’s a lot of guilt. I feel that every day. I feel that when I work. I feel like I’m not there.”
