Tina Ahuja Opens Up On Govinda-Krushna Abhishek Feud: 'It Was Toxic for All'
In an interview, Govinda's daughter Tina Ahuja opened up about the public fallout between Govinda and Krushna Abhishek-Kashmera Shah.
The feud between Govinda and his nephew Krushna Abhishek has finally ended, with the two sharing an emotional hug on a recent episode of The Kapil Sharma Show. Govinda's daughter, Tina Ahuja, has since shared that the dynamics between their families have significantly improved. However, she acknowledged that there was a time when the feud became toxic for everyone involved.
Tina Speaks Up
In an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Tina opened up about the public fallout between Govinda and Krushna Abhishek-Kashmera Shah.
“It’s kind of toxic, I wouldn’t lie, and I’ve said that to Arti (Arti Singh) as well. I always try to keep myself away from it. And to be very honest, I am very happy in my life. I don’t talk about all these things, and I think now it’s a thing of the past. I don’t want to talk about it again and again or give it a new story, and all of that—it’s not necessary. Things are good, decent, and respectful,” Tina said.
On why she chose not to react publicly to the family conflict, she added: “I don’t really look at things that way. I just know one thing: I met my cousins, and everything was good, respectful, decent, and fine. Everyone is supposed to be in a good, happy space. They are busy in their own world, and I am busy with my own stuff.”
Family Reunion
Krushna Abhishek and Govinda reconciled during their appearance on The Kapil Sharma Show. A memorable moment unfolded when Krushna invited Govinda onstage for a dance performance.

The duo grooved to Govinda’s iconic song Filmon Ke Saare Hero, earning thunderous applause from the audience. Their reunion was sealed with a heartfelt hug, and Krushna affectionately called Govinda “Mama number 1.” In a playful response, Govinda jokingly asked if Krushna was buttering him up. The episode also featured actors Shakti Kapoor and Chunky Panday and is now available on Netflix.
About the Family Feud
The seven-year feud between Govinda and Krushna began with a disagreement over jokes Krushna made about Govinda’s on-screen roles. The situation escalated when Govinda’s wife, Sunita Ahuja, distanced herself from Krushna and his family. Their public disagreements often made headlines, with Krushna accusing Govinda of not visiting his children in the hospital and Govinda calling him a liar.
The first step towards reconciliation occurred after Krushna visited Govinda following his shooting accident. In October, Govinda was hospitalized due to a self-inflicted gunshot wound. The recent reunion marks a hopeful new chapter for the family.
