In the social media post, the actress can be seen fearlessly plunging into an ice bath, defying the sweltering summer temperatures, as she immerses herself in icy waters with a temperature of 4 degrees Celsius. Samantha recently announced a one-year break from acting in order to pay attention to her health and receive treatment for the autoimmune disease myositis. Myositis, according to Webmd, is any disorder that causes inflammation in the muscles. The most typical myositis symptoms include discomfort, edoema, and weakness.

On the work front, Samantha Ruth Prabhu will next be seen in the romantic drama 'Kushi' opposite Vijay Deverakonda. The actors have already been garnering praises by the audience for their on-screen chemistry. The romantic Telugu film will hit theatres on September 1.

The 'Family Man 2' actress will also be seen in an action-packed avatar in the Indian version of 'Citadel' alongside Varun Dhawan.
