Salman Khan House Firing: Two Guns Recovered From Tapi River In Gujarat

New Delhi: The Salman Khan Galaxy apartment shooting episode has seen some development as far as the investigation is concerned. The two accused, Vicky Gupta and Sagar Pal, arrested for the shooting told the Mumbai Police that they had two guns at the time of the attack and were ordered to fire 10 rounds, news agency ANI reported.
Guns found in Tapi River
During their interrogation, the accused revealed that they threw guns in the Tapi River in Gujarat's Surat after firing outside Salman Khan's Galaxy apartments in Mumbai.
According to ANI, the Mumbai Crime Branch has recovered two guns, four magazines and 17 live rounds which were used to fire outside Salman Khan's house. The crime branch team also took one of the accused, Vicky Gupta with them to the Tapi River to locate the guns.

Citing the Mumbai Police Crime Branch, ANI reported that statements of more than 10 people have been taken in the case while more are still being recorded.
Lawrence Bishnoi gang takes responsibility
Meanwhile, both Vicky and Sagar were arrested last week from Gujarat's Bhuj.
The two told the police that they carried out the firing at the megastar's residence as part of an action plan from jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi to make quick money. Pal also shared that the media attention from the case would get him a big place in the gang.
Mumbai Police declared gangster Larewnce Bishnoi and his brother Anmol Bishnoi as wanted accused in connetcion with the firing incident.
Three hours before the firing incident, Anmol Bishnoi took the responsibilty of the attack in a Facebook post, whose IP address was traced to Portugal.
Meanwhile, Vicky and Sagar were arrested on the charges under IPC section 307 ( attempt to murder), 506(2) for threatening, 11( incitement) and 201( destroying evidence). Police are likely to add more sections to the case.
