RJ Mahvash took to Instagram to post a heartfelt note for her rumoured boyfriend and star cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal after Punjab Kings narrowly missed clinching the IPL 2025 title.

Radio jockey and social media personality Mahvash took to Instagram to post a heartfelt note for her rumoured boyfriend and star cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal after Punjab Kings narrowly missed clinching the IPL 2025 title. Her tribute came after Royal Challengers Bengaluru triumphed over the Kings in a gripping final.

Mahvash praises rumoured beau Yuzvendra Chahal

What stood out in Mahvash's post was her revelation that Chahal played the entire IPL season battling not one, but three fractures. She praised his resilience and "warrior spirit," sharing unseen behind-the-scenes moments from her time with the team.

In her emotional message, Mahvash wrote, “They fought, stayed and played till the last match! And special post to @yuzi_chahal23 because what people don't know is that his ribs got fractured in the second match only and his bowling finger got fractured later, this guy played the entire season with 3 fractures! We all have seen him screaming and crying in pain but have never seen him giving up! I mean what warrior spirit you have man.”

Her post was accompanied by a carousel of photos including shots with team co-owner Preity Zinta, captain Shreyas Iyer, coach Ricky Ponting, and Chahal himself—seen holding a pillow emblazoned with his name.

Celebrating the team’s performance, she added, “The team kept fighting till the last ball! It was nothing but an honour to be a supporter of this team this year! Well played boys. All the people in these pictures have my heart. See you next year! Also, many congratulations to RCB and fans for winning the title. Everyone played and worked hard! Cricket, and IPL ..my God again! Truly a festival for us Indians.”

Mahvash and Chahal's rumoured relationship

Speculation around Mahvash and Chahal’s relationship began circulating in 2024, when the cricketer was still married to choreographer Dhanashree Verma. As reports of tension in Chahal’s marriage surfaced later that year, Mahvash denied dating him at the time via an Instagram post. However, since Chahal’s divorce was finalised in March 2025, the duo has been spotted together at several IPL events, fueling ongoing rumours about their bond.

Though neither of them has officially confirmed their relationship, Mahvash’s latest tribute to Chahal has only added to the buzz surrounding the two.
