Veteran actor Rekha made the IIFA 2024 night unforgettable with her mesmerising performance, captivating the audience with her grace and elegance. Dressed in a stunning Anarkali outfit, Rekha performed alongside a group of dancers for over 20 minutes, proving once again that age is just a number. 

The official Instagram page of IIFA shared clips from her performance, evoking nostalgia for her golden days in cinema. Posting the video, IIFA wrote, "The night lights up as the iconic and ever-glowing Rekha gives a stunning performance on the stage of the NEXA IIFA Awards 2024."

In the video, Rekha is seen dancing to Lata Mangeshkar's classic song 'Piya Tose Naina Lage Re' from the 1965 film 'Guide'. She also performed to 'Mohe Panghat Pe' from the 1960 film 'Mughal-e-Azam', 'Lag Jaa Gale' from the 1964 film 'Woh Kaun Thi', and 'Pardesiya Yeh Sach Hai Piya' from the 1979 film 'Mr Natwarlal'.

Rekha's return to the IIFA stage after more than five years clearly left a lasting impression.

About IIFA 2024

The second day of the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards 2024 in Abu Dhabi was a glittering affair, with Bollywood stars like Hema Malini, Shah Rukh Khan, Rani Mukerji, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Vicky Kaushal, Shahid Kapoor, and Kriti Sanon in attendance.

A major highlight of the night was Shah Rukh Khan, who not only co-hosted the event but also charmed the audience with his signature style. He was joined on stage by Vicky Kaushal and Karan Johar, and together, they gave an electrifying performance to Shah Rukh's hit song 'Jhoome Jo Pathaan'.

The three-day IIFA celebration began on September 27 with IIFA Utsavam, an event dedicated to the southern film industries of Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada. The event will conclude on September 29 with the exclusive, invitation-only IIFA Rocks, featuring performances by Honey Singh, Shilpa Rao, and Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy.
