Raveena Tandon trainer her daughter Rasha
In an earlier interview with BBC Asian Network, Rasha spoke about how her mother played an important role in preparing her for the screen. She shared how Raveena Tandon trained her by analyzing and breaking down performances of legendary figures such as Rekha, Saroj Khan, and Sadhana.
“My mom—ever since even before I started working on this film—somehow knew that ‘she likes this, she’s going to do this.’ She used to make me watch Rekha ji’s performances, Saroj ji’s performances, and even Sadhana ji’s,” Rasha revealed. “She would break it down for me and say, ‘Okay, see her expression here. This is a happy expression—but see how she’s done it. See her eyes, see her lips.’”
Rasha added, “She would really break it down and teach me the craft of it, more than just watching it for fun. We were once watching Jhumka Gira Re, the original one with Sadhana ji, and I was in complete awe.”
Following the success of Azaad, Rasha Thadani is now working on her second film project, with more details expected to be revealed soon.
