Randeep Hooda, Lin Laishram Seek Blessings At Temple In Imphal Ahead Of Wedding

Randeep Hooda will be getting married to his longtime partner Lin Laishram in Manipur soon.

New Delhi: Randeep Hooda will be getting married to his longtime partner Lin Laishram in Manipur soon. As the wedding festivities begin, Randeep landed in Imphal, well in time before the wedding prep happens. The couple will tie the knot on Wednesday, November 29.

The two were seen offering prayers at a temple at Heingang in Imphal East district. Both of them were seen in ethnic wear for their temple visit.

Speaking with news agency PTI, Randeep Hooda said, "I pray for a happy future, peace for Manipur and everywhere in the world, a happy married life and many more things. I hope I get them.

 

As per several reports, Randeep Hooda's wedding will be a private affair attended by the likes of close friends and family.

Randeep and Lin announced their wedding news on their respective social media handles on Saturday. In a joint note, they shared, "Taking a leaf out of Mahabharata where Arjun married Manipuri Warrior Princess Chitrangada, We are getting married with the blessings of our families and friends. We are filled with immense joy to share that our marriage will take place on the 29th of November 2023, Imphal, Manipur, followed by a reception in Mumbai. As we set to embark on this journey, we seek your blessings and love for this union of cultures, for which we are forever indebted and grateful. In love and light, Lin and Randeep."

Lin Laishram was most recently seen in the Kareena Kapoor-led 'Jaane Jaan' on Netflix. She has also been seen in films like 'Mary Kom', 'Om Shanti Om', 'Rangoon' and more.

On the other hand, Randeep Hooda, will be seen in the film 'Swatantra Veer Savarkar'. The film is based on the biopic of a freedom fighter Vinayak Damodar Savarkar, popularly known as Veer Savarkar. The film has been written and directed by Randeep Hooda and Utkarsh Naithani.
