Rajpal Yadav's father, Naurang Yadav, passed away on Friday, January 24, at AIIMS Hospital in Delhi. While the actor's team has not issued an official statement yet, it is believed that Naurang Yadav had been unwell for some time.

Rajpal Yadav, who was reportedly shooting in Thailand, rushed back to Delhi to be with his family on Friday. According to reports, his father was admitted to AIIMS in Delhi, where he took his last breath.

The actor often credits his father for his achievements in life. In a 2018 post on X, Rajpal had written, "My father has been the biggest driving force in my life. If it wasn't for your belief in me, I would not be where I am today. Thank you for being my father, I love you."

Rajpal Yadav got death threat

Earlier this week the actor had received death threats allegedly originating from Pakistan. Along with comedian Kapil Sharma, choreographer Remo D’Souza, and actor-singer Sugandha Mishra, he is reportedly one of the individuals targeted. A First Information Report (FIR) has been filed in Mumbai, and the Amboli Police Station has registered a case based on Yadav's complaint.

Rajpal Yadav's Response to the Threats

The actor on Thursday has addressed reports about receiving death threats allegedly traced to Pakistan. In an audio statement, Rajpal Yadav confirmed that he had already reported the threats to the cybercrime department and the police, choosing not to comment further. He stated, “I have informed both the cybercrime department and the police, and after that, I haven’t spoken to anyone. In fact, it’s not my job to talk about this incident when I don’t know anything about it. I am an actor, and in acting, I try to entertain people of all ages, young and old, through my work. I don’t want to say anything more than this. Whatever needs to be said about this matter, the agencies are capable of providing the information. I have shared the details I was aware of.”
