‘There Are No Goodbyes...’: Rajeev Sen Writes An Emotional Note After Officially Getting Divorced From Charu Asopa

Rajeev Sen and Charu Asopa will be co-parenting their daughter Ziana after the divorce.

New Delhi: In December of last year, Charu Asopa and Rajeev Sen initiated divorce proceedings. They tied the knot in June 2019. They have been co-parenting Ziana for over years and are now ready to begin their own lives. Rajeev Sen previously informed their last divorce hearing will take place on June 8. The divorcing couple had already published various statements against one another, including Charu's accusations of domestic abuse against Rajeev. Later, though, they said that they had reconciled for the sake of their daughter. 

In an emotional message, Rajeev informed Charu that they are officially divorced. Rajeev shared a photo of himself and Charu, smiling on his Instagram story. In the photo, Rajeev is seen giving his ex-wife Charu a bear hug.

He captioned the photo, “There are no goodbyes! Just two people who just couldn't hold on to each other. Love will stay. We will always remain Mom and Dad to our daughter.”

The married life of Charu Asopa and Rajeev Sen has been widely discussed last year. It didn't take long for the newlyweds to run into trouble. Soon thereafter, they decided to reconsider the divorce for the sake of their daughter Ziana, and they reconciled. 

Earlier, Charu Asopa told ETimes that she had no problem with Rajeev spending time with their daughter. She said, “Ziana is Rajeev and my responsibility and she is our child. Rajeev can meet her whenever he wants. I always say that he’s always welcome to spend time with her.”

Rajeev and Charu made a number of attempts to get back together as a pair until they finally decided to call it quits. They'd break up, talk to the press about the problems in their relationships, and then get back together, leaving their fans in the dark.
