New Delhi: Priyanka Chopra Jonas extended her gratitude to Mumbai for welcoming her husband Nick Jonas with open arms. The Jonas Brothers gave their fans an unforgettable musical surprise during their first-ever performance in India. American singer Nick Jonas performed for the first time in India during the present Lollapalooza event to chants of 'jiju'.
Priyanka got emotional and stated she was touched by the fans' kindness. Nick performed live on stage with his brothers Joe and Kevin during the Mumbai multi-genre music festival Lollapalooza India. Kevin introduced Nick to the Indian fans of the singer-songwriter as "Jiju," and the festival goers went wild.
A lot of videos that show enthusiastic fans going gaga over the celebrity as they bombard him with "jiju" screams throughout the performance have gone viral online.
Priyanka posted the concert footage on her Instagram Stories, where fans were yelling "Jiju" and cheering for the artist. Reacting to it, Nick Jonas says: “Jiju! I love you all so much.”
Priyanka shared the video and wrote, “My heart (accompanied by a red heart and face holding tears emoji) thank you Mumbai.”

The organizers played 'Galla Goodiyaan' from the 2015 movie 'Dil Dhadakane Do', which starred Nick's wife, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, before the set. Nick brought his brother's lead guitar prowess to the forefront of the stage, but he also smashed it up on stage. At their first concert here on Saturday night, the Jonas Brothers—Nick, Joe, and Kevin Jonas—wowed thousands of fans. During the first day of the second Lollapalooza India festival, the band played for 1.5 hours at the Mahalaxmi Race Course in South Mumbai.
But Priyanka was not there to support her husband and brothers-in-law at Lollapalooza India. She will be next seen in the Hollywood movie 'Heads of State' and the Bollywood film 'Jee Le Zaraa'.
