In an interview with Filmfare, Parvathy revealed how her battles with mental health affected various aspects of her life, including her eating habits and relationships.
“During that time, I was dating a wonderful person, but I was short-tempered, and even my hunger made me angry, which ruined the relationship. After many years, I met him and apologised. That experience taught me to be more cautious before entering into a relationship,” she said, as reported by Mathrubhumi.

Parvathy on relationships
She further shared that while she maintains cordial ties with her exes, she ensures clear boundaries. Currently single for the past three years, Parvathy clarified that she has never dated actors or directors but has been in relationships with people from the technical side of the film industry.
Discussing her experience with dating apps, she admitted, “I find it strange to ‘buy’ people for relationships. I do check these apps occasionally, but most of the time, I keep my accounts suspended. I would rather fall in love the traditional way. I believe in falling in love after truly getting to know each other. Ideally, it would be great if the person is from the same field.”
