Dressed in a regal Sabyasachi creation, the Bollywood star made waves on the red carpet in New York. The outfit quickly became one of the evening’s most buzzed-about fashion statements. 

Khloe Kardashian praises Shah Rukh Khan

Sharing her admiration via Snapchat, Khloe revealed she first discovered SRK during her 2024 trip to India with sister Kim Kardashian. Her first story read, "King Khan." 

Khloe also wrote, "And of course I’m a fan of the K necklace." “He looked amazing, and it’s so great to see how the talented designers incorporate elements of their own culture and fashion from around the world with the theme of the event," she said.

“I loved seeing King Khan at The Met. He’s the first male Bollywood actor to ever attend. I first learned about him when I visited India with Kim last year," Khloe wrote in another story.

Shah Rukh Khan's MET gala look

Shah Rukh Khan made a bold first impression at the Met Gala, stepping out in a custom creation by Sabyasachi. His ensemble featured a dramatic black floor-length coat paired with tailored trousers and a crisp shirt, tied together with a classic kamarbandh. He accessorised with layered custom jewelry and carried a distinctive Bengal Tiger Head Cane, adding a fierce edge to the look. His debut not only marked his first appearance at the Met Gala but also made history as he became the first Bollywood star to walk its iconic red carpet.

On the work front, Shah Rukh will be seen in Siddharth Anand's King alongside Abhishek Bachchan and Suhana Khan. The film will release in 2026.
