Power couple Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal have frequently emphasised the positive contributions they have made to one another's lives.
New Delhi: Following their little over two-year marriage, Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal have frequently emphasised the positive contributions they have made to one another's lives. Speaking about Vicky, Katrina recently revealed in an interview that when she gets picky about leaving the house in the morning, he helps her remember how confident she is.
During an interaction with Hello Magazine, Katrina shared insights on one's struggle with self-image and confidence. She said, "There’ll be a moment where I will be fussing before I leave the house for an event or something. I’ll end up finding something that I see which is not to my liking and I’m trying to fix it, whether it’s a costume or hair or something. And then my husband will wryly remind me ‘Aren’t you the person who says it’s Kay to be you?’” ‘It’sKay to be you’ is the tag line for Katrina’s cosmetics brand, Kay Beauty.
Katrina talked about her emotional health and how reading feeds her soul in the same conversation. She said that occasionally she picks up philosophy books, but Vicky always has a "baffled" expression on his face when he sees her reading them. The 'Tiger 3' actress said, "I read these books not because I’m trying to speak out of knowledge or trying to gain knowledge, but because these books (on philosophy) are the only thing that calms and quiets the questions in my mind. My husband will often look at the book I’m reading and then he’ll just look at me with a baffled expression on his face but I’m like, this is what I hear in my head."

She went on to say that although she enjoys reading philosophy books, Vicky does not need to because he is already leading his life "organically." She said, "There are some people like my husband who I honestly think don’t think need to read any of these books, and they authentically and organically live their life like that, and I think that’s beautiful."
