Bollywood’s beloved couple, Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal, continue to win hearts with their love and admiration for each other. In a recent interview with Vogue India, Katrina candidly spoke about how Vicky’s affection and encouragement have played a vital role in her life.
Katrina Kaif says Vicky Kaushal gives her a lot of love
When asked about the importance of fitness in self-care, the actress shared, “I feel better about myself physically and mentally when I’m fit, doing my yoga and cardio. No one but I can make myself feel better, except for my husband sometimes.” She went on to add, “He gives me a lot of love and appreciation. I think that’s an important aspect of learning – to accept or understand unconditional love.”
Vicky Kaushal on Katrina's support
The couple, who tied the knot in December 2021, have been setting relationship goals ever since. Vicky also recently opened up about the immense support he received from his wife during the filming of his upcoming project, ‘Chhaava.’
Speaking about the challenges he faced while working on the Laxman Utekar directorial, Vicky admitted that the emotional and physically demanding nature of the role required a lot of mental space. He credited Katrina for understanding his needs and being incredibly patient.
“There were intense scenes, sometimes there were action scenes. So, once you are home after 12 hours of shooting, you just fall on the bed. Whatever time was there for personal life, it was little. Katrina, being from the same industry, understands that when intense parts like these are there, then some space is required. So, she was very kind, sweet, and patient,” he told PTI.
Vicky further explained how, despite the long hours and challenging shoot schedule, Katrina’s presence provided him with a sense of comfort. “I don’t bring the characters home, but I used to get a bit quiet because the mind is in that zone, it keeps on going—what I did today and what I will do tomorrow. Otherwise, there was not much difference. Everything was pretty normal.”
