However, Jaideep modestly brushed off the attention during the film's trailer launch. He said, "I don't know why people are so surprised to see me dance. I’m from Haryana and have danced a lot since childhood at many 'ghudchadis' (wedding ceremonies). So, dancing is okay." He added, "Even Saif sir was saying, ‘Why are people surprised that someone can dance?’" The actor's comments were met with loud cheers and requests from the media to recreate the steps.
