Aamir Khan's daughter Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare are all set to get married in Mumbai today.
New Delhi: Aamir Khan's daughter Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare are all set to get married in Mumbai today. Ahead of the wedding, several pictures and clips from the pre-wedding festivities have begun to do the rounds on social media. Now, it seems as the wedding gets closer, the groom-to-be has chosen a very different style to land at his own marriage. Instead of the tradtional horse, horse-led carriage, or fancier options, Nupur was seen jogging to the wedding venue.
The fitness trainer reached the Taj Lands, Bandra, where his wedding will be solemnized with Aamir Khan's daughter Ira Khan. Several video clips of the same have been going viral on social media.
In the pap videos that are going viral on social media platforms, we see Nupur in a black gunji and white shorts dancing to dhols and even being lifted by a dholwala as the baarat procession assembles outside the venue.
As per ABP News reporter Ravi Jain, the baarat procession danced for about 10 minutes outside the venue as Npuru Shikhare joined them.
Nupur Shikhare's family was seen in traditional Maharashtrian attires at the wedding venue.
Ahead of the wedding, Aamir Khan's close friend Salman Khan hosted his daughter's mehendi ceremony. As per several reports, Aamir Khan himself has personally called his industry friends to grace the occasion of his daughter's wedding.
However, as per a source close to the development, "Most actors aren’t in town due to the holiday season. But be assured that it’s going to be a star-studded affair. Those who won’t be able to make it to their big day will be a part of the reception in Jaipur," News 18 quoted.
Nupur and Ira met during COVID-19 lockdown when the former was training Ira's father and actor Aamir Khan. The two began dating thereafter and the rest, as they say, is history.
