New Delhi: Ameesha Patel is enjoying the spotlight with the success of ‘Gadar 2’, in which she co-stars with Sunny Deol. The movie has smashed box office records and got the cash registers ringing. The reviews for Gadar 2 are exceptional, and the film has surely revived a nostalgic feeling among all Indians. Ameesha recently spoke about her career-long habit of not kissing on screen.

‘Gadar 2’ actress Ameesha Patel shared her feelings about having to perform a lot of kissing and other intimate scenes. She said that she feels quite uncomfortable doing these kinds of scenes.

While speaking with Instant Bollywood, Ameesha said, "How Salman always says, 'I don't kiss on screen’, Sunny Deol has got the same principle. I've got the same principles.”

Ameesha thinks actors should set limits that reflect their distinctive personalities and sense of security onscreen. She said, "You have to set your boundaries to what you as your personality are comfortable with. So, I'm not averse to looking hot. I'm not comfortable doing extensive sexually intimate scenes. I'm not comfortable with abusing, using explicit language on screen or using mother-sister abuse.”

About Gadar 2

‘Gadar 2’, starring Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel, was released 22 years after ‘Gadar: Ek Prem Katha’, a romantic action film set in India's partition. The Anil Sharma film centres on the happily married couple Tara Singh (Sunny Deol) and Sakeena (Ameesha Patel), who raise their son Charanjeet Singh (Utkarsh Sharma) in a quiet neighbourhood. But then Tara disappears near the Pakistan border, and Jeete, on a quest to find his missing father, is captured by the Pakistan army.
