Ship of Theseus


Sohum Shah portrayed a young Indian stockbroker named Navin in Ship of Theseus. A distinctive movie, which he also bankrolled, saw him playing an intense and different role where he also proved extensive potential as a talent.
This well admired movie was directed by notable director, Anand Gandhi. 

Talvar


Sohum Shah played the character of ACP Vishal Mishra in the real life based drama, Meghana Gulzar’s directorial Talvaar. He played a layered, grey character in the film and the versatile actor effortlessly transformed himself into the skin of the character and delivered an impactful and realistic performance. So much so that after some point we even started hating his character, this proves his mettle as an artist. 


Simran


Sohum was seen establishing his place as the best in the film Simran where he played Kangana's love interest. This movie directed by Hansal Mehta had Sohum play a part in the film proved crucial in fueling the main plot, he set the tone of the character right with his remarkable performance.

Tumbbad

Whenever we talk about the vibrant filmography of Sohum Shah's career and the characters played by him, it can't get completed without mentioning Tumbad directed by well reputed Anand Gandhi and Rahi Anil Barve, Sohum Shah mastered his portrayal of major character Vinayak Rao, lending more dimension of distinctiveness to the character through particular expressions and laughs that added substantially to the overall mood of the picture.

Maharaani Series

Maharani season 1, directed by Karan Sharma Bheema Bharti, a character played by Sohum Shah in the series Maharani. For the character, Sohum had to put on a few kilos to get into its skin. His character is what no one assumed he would take on because of nature, shade, courageousness, shrewdness, power and charm but when he appeared as the chief minister of Bihar, he completely won over the audience's attention with his exceptional skill. Additionally, Season 2, directed by Ravindra Gautam Sohum's bearded appearance in the second season of Maharani completely shocked everyone when it was released.

Dahaad

Sohum played the character of Kailash Parghi in Reema Kagti's Dahaad, the character who has different layers which the actor easily tapped into with his vast talent. The character struck the right chord with the viewers and has gotten a massive amount of love and appreciation from the audiences.
