New Delhi: This is a historical moment for Indian singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh as he becomes the first Indian artist to feature on the cover of Billboard Canada. The special issue will include special content from his "Dil-Luminati" tour.

This past Saturday, Billboard Canada's official Instagram account published the thrilling news in the light of images of the cover, stating: "Diljit Dosanjh is going to make world history when he becomes the first Indian artist to grace a special edition of Billboard from cover to cover. The special edition comes with beautiful photographs, an exhaustive interview, and behind-the-scenes stories from the "Dil-Luminati" tour; there are also limited signed copies for sale. The cover was unleashed during Diljit's concert in London.

Twitter users rushed to express their enthusiasm over the news. "Diljit giving us the representation we deserve!!" some said, adding, "Making history and making us proud each step of the way."

Dil-Luminati Tour

Currently, Diljit is touring over eight cities in the US and Europe. After completing the international tour, he will launch the Indian leg of his tour this October. A concert at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi on October 26 will mark the beginning of the Indian leg of the tour that will cover cities like Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Pune, Kolkata, Bangalore, Indore, Chandigarh, and Guwahati.

On the acting front, Diljit recently announced his role in ‘Border 2,’ along with Sunny Deol and Varun Dhawan. It will apparently be more centered on the Battle of Longewala, but Diljit begins filming from November. He composed the title track for ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ with Pitbull.
