New Delhi: Shahid Kapoor's fees for the forthcoming second season of 'Farzi' is going to shatter records. As per the latest report, the actor's return to the Raj & DK-directed series would net him an astounding amount, the largest paycheck of his career so far.

Shahid Kapoor often charges between Rs 25 and Rs 30 crore for a project. However, he will get a substantial salary increase for 'Farzi season 2', making him one of the highest-paid Bollywood actors. Pinkvilla reports that the actor will be paid a staggering Rs 45 crore for reprising his role in the Raj & DK-directed crime thriller.

According to Pinkvilla, filming is set to begin in December 2025. The same source also claims that 'Farzi season 2' will be out in the second half of 2026. The show will continue Shahid Kapoor's conflict with Vijay Sethupathi and Kay Kay Menon.

Earlier, Raashii Khanna confirmed that Raj and DK are fully engaged in the 'Farzi 2' writing phase. More dramatic twists and turns are promised in the next season. Shahid Kapoor last appeared with Pooja Hegde in the movie 'Deva'. Despite receiving a lacklustre reception at the box office, the movie became popular once it was released on Netflix. Up next, Shahid Kapoor is set to feature in the next action thriller by Vishal Bhardwaj. The project will also include Nana Patekar, Randeep Hooda and Triptii Dimri.
