Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, who welcomed their first child on September 8, have shared an official statement on social media.

Actors Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh announced the birth of their baby girl on Sunday. The couple welcomed their first child on September 8. As per reports, the baby was born at Mumbai’s HN Reliance Hospital.

Bollywood celebs congratulate new parents Deepika and Ranveer 

Celebs shared congratulatory messages on Deepika and Ranveer's posts, there were comments from Alia Bhatt, her sister Shaheen Bhatt, Rubina Dilaik, Amruta Khanvilkar, Athiya Shetty, Malaika Arora, and a few more.

Arjun Kapoor wrote, “Laxmi aayi hai!!!! The queen is here!!!!” Alia Bhatt dropped a bunch of teary eyed and red heart emojis. Singer Vishal Dadlani wrote, “Congratulations and all the love in the world to all three of you!” Actor Sharvari wrote, “Congratulations ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️.” Sunil Grover wrote, “Badhai ho!!! Best!!!!!!! ❤️❤️❤️”

Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone, along with their family members, were spotted on Sunday as they arrived at the hospital. Only a day before to the baby's arrival, the new parents were seen on Friday at Mumbai's Siddhivinayak Temple seeking blessings. Deepika wore a green saree and blouse. She went barefoot to the temple, revealing her baby bump.

Earlier, during their pregnancy photoshoot, Deepika flaunted her baby bump while Ranveer posed with her, as seen in the pictures the couple shared.

About Deepika Padukone pregnancy

The couple first announced their pregnancy in February of this year. The couple posted a picture of themselves together with the caption "September 2024," and it had adorable pictures of balloons, baby shoes, and outfits.

While filming Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Goliyon Ki Rasleela: Ram-Leela’ in 2013, Deepika and Ranveer started dating. They kept silent about their relationship till they tied the knot. In 2018, in the presence of their friends and family, they got married at Lake Como, Italy.

On the professional front, Deepika Padukone was last seen in Kalki AD 2898, also starring Amitabh Bachchan and Prabhas. Meanwhile, Ranveer Singh will be seen in Farhan Akhtar's long-awaited crime flick ‘Don 3’, alongside Kiara Advani.
