Television actress Mahira Sharma and Indian cricketer Mohammed Siraj are reportedly in a relationship, according to a recent ETimes report. While neither of them has publicly addressed the speculation, an insider told ETimes that the two are "romantically involved" and currently getting to know each other. 

Rumours about Mahira and Siraj’s rumoured romance first surfaced in November 2024 when eagle-eyed social media users noticed that the fast bowler had liked multiple pictures of the Bigg Boss 13 star on Instagram. Their online interactions immediately sparked curiosity, leading to widespread speculation about their relationship status. 

Mahira’s past relationship with Paras Chhabra 

Before being linked to Siraj, Mahira was in a relationship with Bigg Boss 13 co-contestant Paras Chhabra. The two formed a strong bond inside the reality show and continued dating after stepping out of the house. However, their relationship hit a rough patch, and in 2023, Mahira unfollowed Paras on Instagram, signaling a possible breakup. 

Confirming their split, Paras had then told ETimes, “Yes, we have not been talking to each other after a fight over petty issues for more than a week. But aisi fights toh hamari hamesha hoti rahi hain, even when we were inside the Bigg Boss house. I never thought that it will lead to a breakup.” 

He further expressed his surprise over Mahira deleting their pictures from social media, adding, “I am equally puzzled and shocked by the news. I don’t know why Mahira unfollowed me or deleted our pictures from her social media account.”

Interestingly, before being linked to Mahira, Siraj’s name was associated with legendary singer Asha Bhosle’s granddaughter, Zanai Bhosle. Their dating rumours started circulating after Zanai shared a picture with the cricketer on her 23rd birthday. However, she quickly shut down the speculation by referring to Siraj as her “dear brother.” Siraj also echoed the sentiment, calling her his “sister,” putting an end to any further gossip. 

As of now, neither Mahira nor Siraj has confirmed or denied their rumoured relationship.
