On Tuesday, a popular paparazzo page revealed that the 69-year-old producer has shed an impressive 26 kilos, and what’s more surprising, without stepping into a gym.

The paparazzo shared the weight-loss revelation in an Instagram post, detailing Boney Kapoor’s apparent routine. “The secret of Boney Kapoor’s weight loss is that, he skips dinner and has only soups. Not just that, his breakfast consists of only fruit & juice and jawar roti,” the post read.
“And mind you, the veteran Boney Kapoor has not hit the gym to get in this shape! It’s pure and sheer dedication, sincerity doubled with hard work!”

While many applauded Kapoor’s discipline, the internet quickly filled with sceptics. Several Instagram users questioned whether such a dramatic change could be achieved purely through diet. A few hinted at the possible use of Ozempic or Mounjaro—injectables originally meant for diabetes but now popular in celebrity weight-loss conversations.

Earlier this year, Boney candidly discussed his hair transplant journey, revealing that it was his late wife Sridevi who encouraged him to lose weight first.
“My wife Sri (actor Sridevi) used to tell me, ‘Boney, first lose weight then you can fix your hair,’” he said while speaking to the media alongside his hair transplant surgeon.
“I remembered my wife’s advice who wanted me to lose weight before the hair transplant, so I went on a diet and lost about 14 kgs. It’s hard for me to exercise, but I still managed to shed weight.”
