Following Shah Rukh Khan’s recent relocation from his iconic residence Mannat, actor Aamir Khan is also preparing to vacate his long-time Pali Hill home in Bandra, Mumbai. The move comes as the building — part of the Virgo Cooperative Housing Society — is set for redevelopment.

Real estate developer Man Infraconstruction Limited (MICL) is leading the transformation of the property into a high-end residential project. Aamir, who owns multiple units in the building, will be allotted a space in the redevelopment’s rehab section, along with other existing residents.

Aamir Khan to move to a new address in Pali Hill

Meanwhile, in anticipation of the redevelopment, Aamir has already secured a new address in the same neighbourhood. According to property documents accessed by Square Yards, the actor purchased a 1,027 sq ft apartment in Bandra’s Pali Hill for ₹9 crore in June 2024. The deal also involved a stamp duty of ₹58.5 lakh and a registration fee of ₹30,000.

MICL’s upcoming project will feature premium 4 and 5 BHK sea-facing apartments. According to Manan Shah, Managing Director of MICL Group, these units fall into the ultra-luxury category, with property prices expected to exceed ₹100 crore. Reports suggest the per square foot cost could go beyond ₹1 lakh.

Shah Rukh Khan shifts from Mannat

Interestingly, Aamir’s move follows a similar development in Shah Rukh Khan’s life. The superstar recently shifted from Mannat to a rented residence in Pali Hill, leasing apartments owned by producers Jackky and Vashu Bhagnani for ₹8.7 crore for two years.

Reports suggest that the actor has leased four floors that not only accommodate the Khan family but will also house their security personnel, domestic staff, and even some office space. “It’s not as expansive as Mannat, but the space is sufficient to meet their needs,” Hindustan Times quoted its source as saying.

This temporary move was necessary as Mannat undergoes extensive renovation, including the addition of two new floors to its annex. The estimated renovation budget stands at ₹25 crore and is likely to take up to two years.
