Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare will be getting married on January 3, reportedly.
New Delhi: Aamir Khan's daughter Ira Khan is all set to get married. As Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare's wedding festivities begin, we get glimpses from their Kelvan ceremony. As per several Instagram stories and photos shared by Ira, fans and netizens get a glimpse of the Maharasthrian celebration where their family members and friends were also present.
Ira Khan also shared a video where all the guests, including Aamir Khan's ex-wife Kiran Rao were present with their son Azad Rao Khan. For those unaware, Ira Khan is the daughter of Aamir Khan and his first wife, Reena Dutta.
In the pictures that have been doing the rounds on social media, we see the Khan and Shikhare family in traditional attire feasting on Maharashtrian style-meal on a banana leaf. In the video, we also see Ira turn to a videographer saying, "My God guys, get married to a Maharashtrian and get a Kelvan. How fun is this?”
Meanwhile, in the pre-wedding festivities, several Ira Khan's friends were also seen. Mithila Palkar, a close friend of Ira was also seen during the festivities. Posing with the bride-to-be Ira and groom-to-be Nupur, Mithila was seen in a yellow salwar suit.
Ira Khan wore a red cotton saree and Nupur wore a red kurta and a saafa.
Ira Khan has been posting updates from her wedding festivities on her Instagram handle. She was also seen with other guests. However, Ira's father and actor Aamir Khan was not to be seen in any video or picture.
As per several reports, Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare will be getting married on January 3. The two got engaged after Nupur proposed to her in Mumbai last year.
Ira Khan-Nupur Shikhare's engagemnet party was a rather candid and relatable celeb event that was in the headlines for quite some time last year.
