BTS' J-hope Begins Military Enlistment Process

J-Hope, the main rapper and choreographer of BTS, has started the paperwork for his required military service.

New Delhi: BTS, the K-pop group, has gone on an indefinite sabbatical so that its members may pursue solo careers and complete their mandatory military service. J-Hope, the main rapper and choreographer for BTS, has started the paperwork for his required military service and asked to have his delay of enlistment terminated.

The artist has reportedly started the enlisting process by seeking to have his military delay revoked, as announced by BIGHIT MUSIC on February 26.

Big Hit broke the news on Weverse and wrote, “Hello, this is Big Hit Music. We would like to inform our fans that J-Hope has initiated the military enlistment process by applying for the termination of his enlistment postponement. We will inform you of further updates in due course. We ask you for your continued love and support for J-Hope until he completes his military service and safely returns. Our company will spare no effort in providing support for our artist. Thank you.”

ARMY is in shock at the rapper's decision and has trended him on Twitter.

J-Hope, went solo before any of his bandmates by releasing his album ‘Jack in the Box’. The documentary ‘Jack in the Box’ follows the artist as he records his first solo album and prepares for his appearance at Lollapalooza 2023. The documentary is available to watch for Disney+ Hotstar users.

During his Weverse Live, J-Hope said that he was working on an exciting project that included street dancing.

He has performed on a number of awards programmes, including the MAMAs. He made history when he headlined Lollapalooza in Chicago, being the first musician from South Korea to do so.

BTS Jin (Kim Seokjin), is presently doing his military obligation as required by South Korean law. Several Korean news sites claim that Jin has graduated from the Division Recruit centre and is currently serving as a commander.
