Fans Await Hrithik Roshan Starrer 'Vikram Vedha' To Hit Theatres

With several big budget films starring superstars like Akshay Kumar, Ranbir Kapoor and Aamir Khan failing to make their mark at the box office with their recent releases, the industry is dismayed.

New Delhi: Bollywood is going through a testing time. With several big budget films starring superstars like Akshay Kumar, Ranbir Kapoor and Aamir Khan failing to make their mark at the box office with their recent releases, the industry is facing an acute crisis. Aamir Khan's 'Laal Singh Chaddha' and Akshay Kumar's 'Raksha Bandhan' failed miserably at the box office, bringing to fore the point that audience needs more than just big names to get attracted to the theatres.

Amid all the hullaboo about the boycott trend that hugely impacted the recently released films including 'Laal Singh Chaddha' and 'Raksha Bandha', audiences can’t wait for Hrithik Roshan’s return to the silver screen, testimony of which is the massive anticipation surrounding his next, Vikram Vedha, which has consistently been trending on social media.

The film, which is 45 days away from its nationwide release, first drove the superstar’s fans into a frenzy when his first-look from the film was out. Fans spoke about how Hrithik looked like a Greek God and made ‘bad look so good’.

Later, the superstar’s fanbase took the internet by storm when the 100-day countdown to 'Vikram Vedha' began. The countdown inspired hundreds of memes that populated social media, speaking volumes for the superstar’s connection with millennial and Gen-Z audiences.

Adding to the anticipation even further, ‘Awaiting Roar of Vikram Vedha’ has been trending on Twitter, with fans expressing their excitement in different ways. Calling him the last ‘True Blue Superstar of Bollywood’, some spoke about his heroic entrance in the film, some sketched the image of his character, others spoke about the lengths they went to watch his films.

'Vikram Vedha' is presented by Gulshan Kumar, T-Series Films and Reliance Entertainment in association with Friday Filmworks and YNOT Studios. The film is directed by Pushkar & Gayatri and produced by S. Sashikanth and produced by Bhushan Kumar. The film has Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan in lead roles with Radhika Apte in a prominent role. The film also stars Rohit Saraf, Yogita Bihani, Sharib Hashmi and Satyadeep Mishra in promising roles.

'Vikram Vedha' commenced filming in October 2021, and after various schedules the film’s principal photography has been successfully completed. Post-production works are now in full swing and 'Vikram Vedha' is set to have a massive worldwide theatrical release on September 30, 2022.
