New Delhi: Earlier this year, American rapper Lil Uzi Vert revealed that he had a 10-carat pink diamond implanted in his forehead. He also disclosed that this move was inspired by rapper Lil B, who got a similar implant. Lil Uzi Vert also disclosed that if the diamond isn’t removed correctly, he might die as well.

Now, while giving an interview with TMZ, Lil Uzi Vert said that his fans ripped off his pink diamond which was implanted into his forehead during a concert. The American rapper told the publication that the incident happened during a performance at Rolling Loud Miami 2021, an annual hip-hop music festival, in July.

Lil Uzi Vert told TMZ, “I had a show at Rolling Loud and I jumped into the crowd and they kind of ripped it out. I still have the diamond so I feel good.”

While he acquired the pink diamond from jewellery, Uzi wrote on Twitter, “I’ve been paying for a natural pink diamond from Elliot for years now. This one Stone cost so much I’ve been paying for it since 2017. That was the first time I saw a real natural pink diamond. A lot of M’s in my face”.

Lil Uzi Vert now has a piercing done in place of the implantation.

Uzi’s real name is Symere Bysil Woods and he began to rap in the year 2010. His first project EP titled Purple Thoughtz Vol. 1 was released in the year 2014. His next project includes ‘Forever Young’ and a follow-up to ‘Luv Is Rage 2’.
