Alia Bhatt Shares She Doesn't Read Reviews- Good Or Bad, While Karan Johar Reads Them All

Alia Bhatt also has several other projects in the pipeline including her Hollywood debut 'Heart of Stone' besides Gal Gadot and Jamie Dornan.

New Delhi: Alia Bhatt has been having a great year with films like 'Gangubai Kathiawadi', 'RRR', and now 'Brahmatsra' doing great business at the box office. Recently, in an interaction, Alia shared her views about reviews and that she does not read reviews at all- good or bad. She also added that she does take feedback from 'enough people' when she meets them and keeps a track of 'what worked' and 'what could have been better'.

Recently, in an interview with trade analyst Komal Nahta, Alia said, "I don't read reviews. Even when the reviews are good I don't read them. When they are bad I don't read them. But even when the reviews are good I don't read them. I read headlines that people send me sometimes. I don't know from the first film I feel ki general sense mil jata hai ki kya chali kya nhi chali, film chalne k baad( I have a general sense from my first film about what worked and what didn't work after the release). I ask enough people when I meet them in person for feedback. It's not like that ki mujhe padhna nahi hai ( It's not like I don't want to read them).I don't like this sort of dissection on day one or day 10 also of a film."

However, she does add, “Karan (Johar) loves reading reviews and he sometimes feels some interesting things come up because again it's an opinion or feedback. So as long as you keep your ear close to the ground, you will get that feedback. I try and get feedback for every film on what I could have done better and if the film has worked then what has worked. If it didn't work, then why not? That I understand."

Alia Bhatt was most recently seen in Ayan Mukerji's 'Brahmastra' alongside Ranbir Kapoor, Nagarjuna, Amitabh Bachchan and Mouni Roy. Fortunately for Alia, 'Brahmastra' has been doing great business at the box office.

Alia also has several other projects in the pipeline including her Hollywood debut 'Heart of Stone' besides Gal Gadot and Jamie Dornan. Alia will also be reuniting with her 'Gully Boy' co-star Ranveer Singh for Karan Johar's 'Rockey Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani' which will also be starring Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi.'Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani' will be releasing in February next year.

Alia will also be start working on Farhan Akhtar's 'Jee Le Zaraa' besides Katrina Kaif and Priyanka Chopra next year.
