After Krushna Abhishek, Chandan Prabhakar Breaks His Silence Over Leaving ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’

Chandan Prabhakar who portrayed Chandu on ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ has said that there is no concrete explanation for his refusal to return.

New Delhi: Kapil Sharma will soon return with a whole new season of his comedy show, ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ for viewers to enjoy. The news that Krushna Abhishek won't be returning for Season 2 broke early on. Now, even longtime cast member Chandan Prabhakar has said that he would not be appearing on the comedy programme.

The former actor who portrayed Chandu on ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ has said that there is no concrete explanation for his refusal to return. In addition, he said that he just needed a break.

Chandan explained his withdrawal from The Kapil Sharma Show in an interview with Pinkvilla. For no particular reason, Chandan said, “Yes, I will not be a part of this season of The Kapil Sharma Show and there is no specific reason. I just wanted to take a break.”

For the unversed, Krushna Abhishek has already said that he would not be appearing on the current season of Kapil Sharma's comedy program. The actor said that "agreement problems" were the cause. No, that's not it. One of the show's most well-known actresses, Bharti Singh, has already said that she would not be a regular in the next season of The Kapil Sharma Show. The actress is reportedly on maternity leave and has a busy to handle.

Chandan got his start in the industry when he came in second place on the comedy show ‘The Great Indian Laughter Challenge’ in 2007. Hawaldaar Harpal Singh, Jhanda Singh, Raju, and Chandu chaiwala are just a few of Chandan's most well-known on-screen roles on the Kapil Sharma Show. Chandan also did not accompany Kapil on his recent trip to Australia. Kapil and Chandan have been friends for quite some time, and they have a fantastic equation in common.

Meanwhile, ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ is scheduled to make its debut on September 10, and it will be shown on Sony TV every weekend. Sumona Chakravarti, Kiku Sharda, and Chandan Prabhakar will be returning to the program.
