Addressing the Shikhar Sammelan conclave organised by ABP News in Delhi, BJP President Amit Shah said that mood of the nation was with Prime Minister Modi and the BJP shall come back to power after the 2019 Elections.

New Delhi: Addressing the Shikhar Sammelan conclave organised by ABP News in Delhi, Bharatiya Janta Party President Amit Shah said that mood of the nation was with Prime Minister Modi and the BJP shall come back to power after the 2019 Elections. He lashed out at the opposition asking them that who was their PM face. He added that there has been no discussion over seat distribution among party lines ahead of the Lok Sabha. Speaking on the issue of terrorism, Amit Shah said that the Modi government had a policy of no tolerance against terrorism. He added that the Army had been given a free hand to operate in the Kashmir Valley and hunt down terrorists to avenge the dastardly Pulwama attack. He that the Indian Army carried out Surgical Strikes with clinical precision to seek retribution for the Uri terror attack which left 18 of our soldiers dead.The government gave the Army the option to choose their time and place of executing the specialized operations across the Line of Control. He rounded up by claiming that the maximum terrorists had been killed in the valley during Narendra Modi govt's regime over the last four years. He lashed out at Pakistan PM Imran Khan saying that he still hasn't condemned the Pulwama terror attack and neither expressed any sort of empathy towards the CRPF brave hearts who attained martyrdom in the fidayeen attack carried out by Jaish-E-Mohammad. Replying to question on whether India should play Pakistan in the World Cup Cricket, he said that the government's message of boycotting our neighbors at the showpiece event in England is being well communicated by social media platforms and television channels. He added that the government shall soon decide on a major step against Pakistan . It may also be possible that the ICC might ban Pakistan from the World Cup. Amit Shah claimed the BJP shall win more seats in Uttar Pradesh than what they garnered in the 2019 Lok Sabha polls. He also asserted that Dalits are not with Mayawati. He took a dig at the BSP Supremo saying that she only concentrates on seats and never really cares about the booth level work in the state. Besides Mayawati, Shah also hit out at the Congress party and said that Priyanka Gandhi is being overly praised after her plunge into national politics. BJP chief Amit Shah also targeted the opposition parties and asked them to name their PM face for the upcoming polls. Lauding Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Swaach Bharat Abhiyaan, Amit Shah said after Mahatma Gandhi, it was our current Prime Minister who laid emphasis on cleanliness. On the contentious Ram Mandir he said that the it was always Bharatiya Janta Party's mandate to build a Ram temple at Ayodhya and the same is reflective in their 2014 election manifesto. He also questioned the opposition's intentions on whether they too wanted a mandir built at the disputed site. ABP News is holding the Shikhar Sammelan at the Lalit Hotel in New Delhi.
