The induction of Vishwaraj Singh Mewar and Bhavani Singh Kalvi took place in Delhi, amid the presence of key BJP leaders like CP Joshi and Bikaner MP Arjun Meghwal.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has unveiled its second list of candidates for the upcoming Rajasthan Assembly Elections in 2023, with notable additions including Vishwaraj Singh Mewar and Bhavani Singh Kalvi, who formally joined the party during a meeting held in the capital. The elections to the 200-seat Rajasthan Assembly will be held on November 25.

The induction ceremony took place in Delhi, with the presence of key BJP leaders such as Rajasthan state president CP Joshi, Union Minister and Bikaner MP Arjun Meghwal, and Rajsamand MP, as well as Jaipur Vidyadhar Nagar candidate Diya Kumari.

It is worth noting that the BJP had previously disclosed its first list of candidates for the Rajasthan Assembly elections on October 9. Additionally, seven Members of Parliament (MPs) are being fielded as candidates for the legislative assembly.

The release of the second list, expected on Tuesday, is anticipated to further shape the party's strategy. The Rajasthan BJP Core Group convened at the residence of BJP National President JP Nadda, initiating discussions from noon. Amit Shah, another prominent figure in the party, was also in attendance, and it is expected that the finalization of the second list will be a focal point of the meeting.

Following their official entry into the BJP, Vishwaraj Singh Mewar and Bhavani Singh Kalvi received commendation from Rajasthan BJP President CP Joshi. Joshi highlighted that Vishwaraj Singh Mewar, a descendant of Veer Maharana Pratap, and Bhavani Singh Kalvi, whose father led Karni Sena, bring significant stature to the party.

Union Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal expressed confidence in the contributions of the newly joined members, stating that Vishwaraj Singh Mewar and Bhavani Singh Kalvi will play a crucial role in the development of Rajasthan and contribute to Prime Minister Modi's vision of making India a developed country by 2047, reported One India.

In response, Bhavani Singh Kalvi affirmed his commitment to teamwork, pledging to work collaboratively to achieve success for the BJP. Vishwa Raj Singh emphasized the legacy of his ancestors, citing Maharana Pratap's commitment to the welfare of society as a driving force behind his decision to join the BJP, the One India reported stated.
