Oppn Alliance To Maintain Dominance In Punjab, Congress To Get 7 Seats, AAP 4, Says ABP-C-Voter Survey

As per the ABP-CVoter survey, Congress is expected to get 7 Lok Sabha seats in the state with 13 total seats, while the BJP is expected to get 2 seats.

The I.N.D.I.A alliance is expected to maintain its dominance in Punjab with the Congress and the Aam Aadmi Party sweeping the majority of the seats in the state, a survey report has said.

ABP News, in association with CVoter, conducted an opinion Poll in Punjab asking people if they were satisfied with the work of the central government and which party they would be voting in the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections.

As per the ABP-CVoter survey, Congress is expected to get 7 Lok Sabha seats in the state with 13 total seats, while the BJP is expected to get 2 seats. AAP is likely to get 4 seats in the state, while SAD is projected to get zero seats.

The UPA is expected to get 30.4 percent of the votes while the NDA is likely to get 20.6 percent of the votes. Meanwhile, AAP is expected to get 27 percent of the votes and Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) 16.5% of the votes.

The election for the total 13 Lok Sabha seats in Punjab will be held on June 1. In the 2019 Lok Sabha Elections, the Congress-led UPA alliance had secured eight seats, while the BJP had got two seats. Meanwhile, other parties like AAP had got one seat while the SAD got two seats.

(Current survey findings and projections are based on CVoter Opinion Poll CATI interviews (Computer Assisted Telephone Interviewing) conducted among 18+ adults statewide, all confirmed voters, details of which are mentioned right below the projections as of today. The data is weighted to the known demographic profile of the States. Sometimes the table figures do not sum to 100 due to the effects of rounding. Our final data file has Socio-Economic profile within +/- 1% of the Demographic profile of the State. We believe this will give the closest possible trends. The sample spread is across all Assembly segments in the poll bound state. MoE is +/- 3% at macro level and +/- 5% at micro level VOTE SHARE projection with 95% Confidence interval.)
