'Biggest Enemies Of Development': PM Modi Slam Congress, JMM In Jharkhand's Dhanbad

Addressing a public rally in Jharkhand's Dhanbad, PM Modi said: "Only one sound is audible everywhere and that is 'Ab ki Baar, 400 paar".

After inaugurating several developmental projects in Jharkhand's Sindri, Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Dhanbad on Friday. The Prime Minister took a swipe at Congress and the I.N.D.I.A bloc, claiming that these parties are the "biggest enemies of development".

"Congress and its coalition parties are the most powerful opponents of development. Former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee laid the foundation stone for the North Karanpura Electricity Power Plant at the end of the previous century," PM Modi said at a rally in Dhanbad.

"After that, the scammer government of Congress came into power and this project was shut down. In 2014, I gave a guarantee of reviving this project. Today, several houses are lightened because of this power plant," he added further.

The PM further said: "Only one sound is audible everywhere and that is 'Ab ki Baar, 400 paar. The slogan of '400 paar' is being raised because the country has faith in Modi's guarantee".

It is worth noting that PM Modi is visiting the state for the first time since Champai Soren took over as Chief Minister of Jharkhand. The Enforcement Directorate arrested former state Chief Minister Hemant Soren in connection with an alleged land scam.

Aiming for the state's ruling party JMM, PM Modi said: "JMM and Congress have only considered the Adivasis as their vote bank. They will never let the talented people of the tribal communities come forward. These dynasts only think of their own family. Modi is doing everything for your future. You are my family and the future of your children is my guarantee".

"Dhanbad and the surrounding area are of industrialists and labourers. The I.N.D.I Alliance opposes every scheme made by us or creates obstacles to it... We will continue the free ration scheme... We implemented 'One nation, one ration card' scheme," PM Modi announced.

"I am working to resolve the water issues. However, the I.N.D.I Alliance is obstructing it. Only 50% of the Jal Jeevan Mission's work has been completed. They obstruct the construction of low-income housing. The I.N.D.I Alliance government opposes development and the people. Their only vision is to snatch people's rights and enjoy. The middlemen are no longer able to receive commissions. People who have lost their commissions are abusing me. But their abuses do not reach me because your blessings keep me safe," he added.
